Warmest water search – January

Hello, we are searching for where the warmest clean, clear tourquoise ocean water for swimming is in the Caribbean in January. Our research so far (NOAA’s SST images, windyy app sea surface temperature maps, and general google searches) has pointed us to Aruba, Curaco, Bonaire or Cayman. This will be an expensive trip for us financially and in terms of travel time due to the distance from where we live. We used to live on the ocean that would get to around 86 degrees in the summer and loved swimming at that temperature. We had to move to take care of family and miss it every day. We know the ocean in the Caribbean won’t be that warm in January, however, we would like to find the warmest possible for swimming. We would appreciate input from you to make a good decision so we are happy with our vacation. Cayman is closer for us, and based on our searches of ocean SST it looks as warm as Aruba, we are looking for a second opinion on that or more ideas we have not looked at yet. We are maybe thinking of doing a few hours of snorkeling or jet ski or catamaran sailing if we can afford it. Thank you in advance for your input.
