Desiree Boltos, AKA the Sweetheart Swindler, is serving 85 years in prison because of her crimes which targeted six elderly people. She and her common-law husband, Paul Hill, who she introduced as her brother, were equal partners in scamming older people out of their money and then spending it at casinos.
Boltos would meet people over 65, develop a romantic relationship with them, and then invent scenarios about why she needed money.
