URGENT: Friend in Trinidad is in danger — need help contacting police

Hi, I’m not from Trinidad, but my friend Kyle (lives in Trinidad) is in serious danger and I’m desperate to get him help.

He messaged me saying he’s being threatened and forced to stay silent by his ex girlfriend( she was stabbed him, stole his money, abused him multiple times before) she is currently in the house with him. He’s scared for his life and was forced to delete messages. He asked me to try and get help for him before he went silent.

His phone number is: +1 (868) 705 8200 I believe he’s being watched and possibly doesn’t have access to his phone anymore.

I’ve tried: • Contacting the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) online and through Instagram • Calling police numbers from outside the country (but they won’t connect) • Submitting an online tip to the TTPS • Emailing official addresses (no response yet)

I’m asking if anyone local can help by either: • Calling the TTPS on his behalf • Going to a nearby police station and reporting a welfare concern for Kyle • Sending a message to someone with authority who might act faster

Even a wellness check could save his life.

Please let me know if you’re able to help or if you know someone who can. I’m really scared for him and I don’t know what else to do.
