Georgia Fort, an independent journalist based in Minnesota, and former CNN anchor Don Lemon have been charged with conspiracy against and interference with the right to religious freedom at a place of worship.
The alleged offences are in connection with their coverage of a protest at a church in St Paul on Jan 18 opposing the US administration’s immigration crackdown.
