Hello👋 I have vacation from 21rd December to 29th January and been wanting to visit Caribbeans for some time. But I need some help organizing and understanding what kind of itinerary I should plan, I will solo travel.

My primary goal is to get a good feel for Caribbean is to build more experiencing diving (I took open water certificate last year), get a feel for the culture, some sight seeing, spend time on sandy beach, snorkeling.

My current plan is to arrive in Caribbeans between 25-28th (departing from Norway, the flight is about 17 hours, give or take) and celebrate new year at my arrival destination.

Then travel to another location for 2 weeks to do some diving/snorkeling, afterward go to a new location for another 2 weeks before flying back to Norway. I have very little experience with Caribbeans, so am unsure if its a good idea to travel there for new year, or if I should go in the first week of January post new year.

For diving I’ve read a lot about Honduras (Utila) being a good destination, Nicaragua (Little Corn) and Curaçao seem to be good destination for diving.

Where should I go that is both safe and reasonably priced, not too touristy? Any recommendation for third destination?
