10 or 14 Nights in Dominica?

Hello All,

I am planning a trip to Dominica in late November with my wife. We are both in our early 40s and are in decent shape. We like hiking (though not too strenuous), a little bit of beaches, and nature stuff in general.

Anyway, we plan on renting a car and high level, I’m thinking of staying in Calibishie, Laudat/Wotten, and Soufriere for the trip. But…I’m torn. I don’t know if we should go 10 nights or 14 nights. We have been to St Lucia and for 7 nights (that’s my best comparable) and felt like we could have done 3 more nights, but not 7 more. But, seemingly Dominica might have more going on?

Anyway, question is, should we do 10 or 14? Is 14 too many?
