A 72-year-old wealthy expat in the Cayman Islands, Larry McGean, and his wife, Linda McGean, physically attacked a 17-year-old Black minor, jumped into his car, and used racial slurs (including the N-word).

Despite clear video evidence, only the minor was arrested, while McGean—who profits from Caymanians through his businesses,walked away with just a warning.

Now, McGean’s SUPPORTERS are trying to justify the attack by spreading FALSE claims that the 17-year-old had a gun. This is dangerous misinformation meant to criminalize a Black minor and excuse an expat’s racist, violent behavior.

• McGean, 72, was already acting hostile and aggressive toward the 17-year-old before anything was said.
• The minor said « bredrin » (a common Caribbean word meaning « brother » or « friend »).
• McGean misheard it as « bitch » and used that as an excuse to escalate even further.
• He then jumped into the minor’s car, a clear act of aggression.
• When the minor defended himself, McGean and his wife started using racial slurs.
• Instead of arresting the expat for physical assault, police arrested the minor.

Why This Is A HUGE Issue:

• The Cayman justice system is protecting a 72-year-old white expat while criminalizing a 17-year-old Black minor.
• Now, McGean’s supporters are LYING to make it seem like the minor had a gun,when NO such evidence exists.
• If a Caymanian did this abroad, they’d be deported immediately.
• Cayman authorities must be held accountable for letting an expat walk free after attacking a minor.
