With the approach of Halley’s Comet, he appears on Houki Star Island with his subordinate Western Yokai and occupies the island. He forced the islanders to work and built a fortress to serve as a base, and planned to conquer Japan by summoning yokai from all over the world. He has a huge body that far exceeds Kitaro’s, and is depicted in a flashier way than the original, with lightning flying around him. It seems to have some kind of relationship with Halley’s Comet, and its body was connected to another dimension like outer space (it is not mentioned in detail in the play). Just as he was about to push Kitaro into his body, the Mouse Men destroyed the bedrock separating the foundation of the fort from the underground cavern swirling with abnormal currents, and he was severely injured by the fragments of the fort shattered by the torrent and the hair needles of Kitaro who escaped. In the end, both of his subordinates were swallowed by a tornado of water and sent away.
