ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಕುರಿತು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸ್ಮೃತಿ ಇರಾನಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವ ಶೇ.33ರಷ್ಟು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಶೀಘ್ರ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದ ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸ್ಮೃತಿ ಇರಾನಿ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ನಲ್ಲಿ ದುರ್ಗಾ ದೇವಿಯ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

BJP National General Secretary Smriti Irani has made an appeal to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the implementation of the 33% reservation for women in Parliament.
She urged Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party to support the swift implementation of the women’s reservation law introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Smriti Irani also referred to remarks concerning Hindu religion and appealed to the Congress to sing the full rendition of Vande Mataram at the Congress headquarters, highlighting its reference to Goddess Durga.
