American working in Dutch Caribbean

I’m an American college student studying education and graduating in a year and a half. I’d love to move abroad and work somewhere else, possibly in the Caribbean. I recently read about the DAFT agreement between the Netherlands and Dutch Caribbean regarding working and extended stay in the Dutch Caribbean islands. I also know how difficult it can be for non EU citizens to gain work permits in EU nations. I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with getting a job and working in the Dutch Caribbean as a foreign/American/non-EU citizens. Do EU hiring laws apply to these places? Or do they allow non EU citizens to more easily gain work visas and live there? Apologies if my questions are too broad or seem ill-informed. I’ve been trying to do some independent research and was just wondering if anyone had some insight, thanks!
