Caribbean Getaway for Two 🏝️

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a vacation spot to celebrate my boyfriend and I’s birthdays the week of Labor Day in the Caribbean (yes I know hurricane season 🫠). We’re 37 and 40, and we want a nice hotel or resort on the beach with beautiful water, snorkeling opportunities, and a tropical vibe. Not looking for anywhere clubby – we like island bars and local flair. Somewhere relatively safe, that ideally has nonstop or easy one stop flights available out of Dallas. Where should we go? Our budget is around $200-$500 a night for the week, and we also like entertainment like live music or something occasionally. Looking for something (at least resembling) 4 stars or above.

Right now we’re considering Grand Cayman, Bahamas, St. Thomas, and Aruba but open to any and all suggestions as well as resort suggestions. I like a little more bougeè resort with a spa and some boating (he’s more of an adventure sport guy, loves water sports and tiki bars). 🐠
