Caribbean Island Recommendations?

My husband and I are looking to plan a trip for this year to a Caribbean island. We want to Curaçao last year for a week and loved it. We have been to Bahamas, Dominican, Jamaica, and Virgin Islands, and we enjoyed Curaçao more than those destinations. We prefer non all inclusive (our favorite part of curaçao was being able to eat at nice restaurants and walk to local coffee shops, etc.) We are looking for good beaches (beachfront property ideally), safe area to explore, and great food and lively atmosphere. Currently we are between Barbados or Grenada (or also considering returning to Curaçao. Open to any suggestions or recommendations!
