Dominica – Boiling Lake Hike Still Worthwhile with Cable Car Infrastructure in Place?

I plan to spend spending five days in Dominica in mid-November. I assume the new cable car up to Boiling Lake will not have opened yet. (The website says they are targeting « late 2026 »). I had planned to do the hike, but I am wondering if all the new infrastructure – towers, cables, multiple stations and associated visitor facilities – has spoiled the remote feeling of the area, even if the cable car is not yet operational. Is it still worthwhile considering the hike? Has anyone done this hike in recent weeks?
