Guápiles Costa Rica as a afro-latin, alternativ, queer women?

Hey, i hope you all have a great Day! I am actually born in the dominican republic, and now living in germany since i am 6 years old. Now i am in my mid 20s and i wanted to move to costa rica, puerto viejo (anything near puerto limon, because of the afrocaribbean culture). I wanted to buy land there…

Now: I found something in Rio Blanco de Guápiles, Limón. And i wanted to ask you if anyone has experience and if a afro-caribbean woman like me would feel comfortable in this area?

The goal is to life self sufficient, off grind and ecological ….i am also queer, tattoed and have piercing…so I am wondering if the area is too conservative maybe … and i am also young! I want to live in nature but not completely alone, just alone for securityreasons. So i would like to be actually cool with my neighbours!🫶🏽 but i am unsure, how welcome people like me will feel there
