I hate tourists

Good evening. I would like to write this short statement on why I simply hate tourists. I live in Barbuda, but have also lived in Antigua.

When I was a child, I was playing outside in my schools outdoor area. A jeep full of Americans drove up to ME and started asking me for directions. When I said no, the tourists began showering me with racial slurs, and began yelling about how my country is poor and ugly, and how I should be thankful that they are supporting my poor islands economy.

Why be thankful for a group of tourists that have disrespected my island by throwing trash on beaches, and simply being annoying?

I apologise that my post was a little low quality, and I hope to write a more detailed post about this instance, and other tourist interactions in the future.
