January and February Destination

Hey there!

We live on a barrier island off of the coast of Texas… it’s wonderful most of the year, but the weather gets kind of nasty in January and February.

I’m going to rent a place for those two months and escape the cold.

Here’s the question… where and why?

I’m wide open… not including but bound by Cuba and Venezuela… where would you go?

My rent budget is up to 5 or 6 thousand USD a month. Figured I’d air BNB unless I get a better hookup.

I do not want the secluded life… I need people, bars, restaurants, strip clubs, and fun in my life.

Ideas? Where would you go and why?
