Looking for 5 ⭐️ resorts recommendations in the Caribbean or Riviera Maya

Hi everyone! My husband and I are planning a one-week winter escape in February and would love your recommendations for a five-star, all-inclusive resort.

What we’re looking for :

Location: Caribbean or Riviera Maya, preferably with direct flights from Charlotte or Miami.

• Budget: $3,000 total for 7 nights (lodging only) → about $429/night • Vibe: Great food (not just in quantity but also quality), amazing facilities, crystal-clear water, right on the beach

• Activities: We like to stay active—water sports, gym, classes, excursions, etc. Nightly entertainment would be a plus: casino, karaoke, shows, etc.

• Occasion: Our “last hurrah” before having a baby in the summer, so we want it to feel special and fun. We like traveling a lot to all kinds of places, and are used to doing more hardcore kind of trips, but this time we want to do something lazy and truly relaxing.
