made oxtail with rice and peas for the very first time

today i spent over 6+ hours cooking oxtail in the oven with rice and peas. the oxtail in terms of flavour was actually not bad at all however it was pretty greasy. i was able to get all of the ingredients 99% right for the rice and peas however i added a little excessive coconut milk in the rice and it came out mushy. i understand that its not the best but y’all can tell me what y’all think 🤷🏻‍♂️😀
