While at the bar on a cruise last year I was chatting with someone who mentioned they were taking out money at the casino ATM and receiving casino points towards rewards and free cruises.
They would take out a few hundred, spend a small amount at the casino, then take the rest with them.
They said Royal Caribbean sees it as a purchase at the casino so they get points for it.
Has anyone else come across this, or something similar?
