I was originally planning to take my gf to go to Antigua or the Bahamas. Found all-inclusive places for about $3K. Then I realized I didn’t have 6 months on my passport so I’d have to renew. So now I have a dilemma. I can either keep my passport and do 5 nights all inclusive in DR, which I did last time. Or I can risk it, hope to get my passport back in time and go somewhere else. But if not my only other option would be Puerto Rico since that’s a US territory and I wouldn’t need a passport. Is a beach vacation to Puerto Rico doable on 3K for the two of us for 5 nights?
