What is the best time of year to visit the Caribbean?

I apologize for asking such a general question about a region with so much diversity and variance, as I understand it, there are climactic differences depending on where in the Caribbean one is. I’m trying to get a general idea of what different seasons correspond with. The research I’ve done so far has turned up conflicting results, hence my posting here. I’m also specifically trying to understand when (wild)flowers are in bloom. It sounds really silly lol but flowers make me happy and I try to time my visits to when plant life is at its peak.
