Was just in Curacoa and Aruba and the difference was striking. Both islands have amazing people, appear to have had strategic importance during colonial times, and are beautiful vacation destinations. But Aruba seems to be well more developed than Curacoa.
I’ve been to Antigua, the Virgin Islands, PR, the DR, and Turks & Caicos and I didn’t notice such a stark difference.
What are the historic economic reasons behind their different levels?
